Michael's Evolution 7 is far from factory ! From fender screws and wheel nuts, to turbos and external gates, everything has been changed and modified just to suit his taste. We have coated this one of a kind Mitsubishi EVO 7 MR in a custom House of Kolor three layer yellow pearl. Front and side carbon lip extensions and a carbon rear wing were added to compliment the unique shape of these Evo’s. As you look further into the interior you will find that the factory Recaro seats along with roof lining and numerous interior panels have been re-trimmed in a custom bright purple suede. Flowing from the interior, this outrageous purple can also be found on many accessories and covers under the hood that complement its wild exterior.

This once 276hp factory 4g63 received an array of extensive perfomance modifications. The short block was stripped and fitted with a 2.3L Manley stroker kit consisting of pistons, rods and oversized stroker crank. Moving to the top end we fitted the motor with long duration 278 HKS cams, titanium retainers, valve springs and a large increase in port size from factory to allow the forward facing BorgWarner 9180 turbo to flow at its full potential. This super sized turbo is sitting on a Purefab custom manifold accompanied with a nice set of twin 45mm Turbosmart gates venting straight out the bonnet. Other goodies surrouding this platform include a Plazaman intake manifold, HPI Intercooler, Mishimoto Halfcut Radiator, Direct Clutches Twin Plate, and a complete Tomei Titatinium exhaust system.

The drive line consists of a 5 speed Pfitzner Performance Dogbox along with Cusco and Wavetrac Differentials. To set this up perfectly for both the street and track, we’ve fitted Tein Coilovers for a smooth yet responsive ride, DBA's top of the range T5000 two piece disks along with Hawk Performance pads to bring this power house to a quick stop. As a final exterior touch we sat this Evo on a set of WORK's TE37's in 18x10.5 +12 all round along with a set of Hankook Semi-slicks to keep it attached to the road.

Moving onto the electronics we installed a Haltech Platinum computer package with all the goodies such as wideband controllers, eflex sensors, as well as temp and pressure sensors to make sure this engine is running 110%. Custom Cluster Development designed a one of a kind IQ3 carbon cluster that featured a minion etched into its carbon fibre display along with custom leds and lighting for the warning lights and display.
